CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi meets Japanese Ambassador, attends educational programme at
Embassy of Japan alongwith CMS Principals
Lucknow, 13 August : Leading a six-member delegation of CMS Principals and staff, the Founder of City Montessori School, renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi met the Ambassadaor of Japan, H.E. Mr Kenji Hiramatsu at the Embassy of Japan, New Delhi. He also attended an educational event that encouraged School-to-School Exchange Programme organized by the Embassy of Japan. On this occasion, Japanese teachers were present and they interacted fruitfully with the CMS delegation. It is worth mentioning here that the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Mr Kenji Hiramatsu had especially invited the Founder of CMS, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and the Principals of various CMS Campuses viz Mrs Nisha Pandey, Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I; Mrs Sangeeta Banerjee, Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II; Mrs Vera Hajela, Principal of CMS Station Road Campus; Mrs Aditi Sharma, Principal of CMS Chowk Campus and Mr Shishir Srivastava, Head, CMS International Relations. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma.
Mr Sharma informed that at this special educational programme by Embassy of Japan, 10 Japanese teachers were also invited to encourage the School to School, Teacher to Teacher and Student to Student exchanges, so that mutual understanding among the students and teachers of India and Japan can be strengthened and they could share their thoughts and ideas. It would also benefit the Indian students to get higher education in Japan at the undergraduate level. Mr Sharma stated that this educational programme was held on Hiroshima Day i.e. 6th August. On this occasion, a speech of the great mathematician of India, Shri Shreenivasan Ramanujam was relayed and his photograph displayed alongwith a demonstration of artificial intelligence robot.
Mr Sharma added that CMS is committed to establishing World Unity and World Peace and spreading the message of unity and peace across the world. CMS believes that interaction between students of different countries will lead to the unity and peace across the globe.
